22 Month Stuff

Aren't we a cute family? My brother was sleeping so he couldn't be in the picture. 
Did I mention that I LOVE the river? I wanted to spend all day throwing rocks and sticks in the water. 
And I love ice too - I was taking ice out of the buckets that kept all the drinks cold at the Jamboree. MMM!! 
Do you see my boo-boos? I fell down a couple times on the cement and scraped my knees.I had to have some band-aides to make it better. 

I'm getting to be so big now! I say all kinds of things, mommy can't keep track of it all. I do like to say no and scream a lot though. I'm pretty good at flailing around in her arms so she has a hard time holding me. haha!

I spent a lot of time with my great grandma, cousin Emily, Grandma and Grandpa Fox - and my "papa" Gefre. I really like him. :)

I got to go for a walk in the stroller to Whistling Jack's Lodge to get an ice cream with my mommy and I saw lots of motorcycles and birds and went to the river and it was so fun! My mommy got me a Dora shirt too and it lights up when I move. Great Grandma's dog Lily tried to bite me though and ripped my shirt. Mommy was  picking me up and the doggy jumped up and was hanging from my shirt!  Poor Dora! But I was lucky I didn't  get a bite though -naughty doggy. I still like her though! I played with Grandma Fox's dog Diego though and he was really nice to me. 

22 Months -Jeep Jamboree

Am I too big for this??? I don't think so! I like to sneak in here when my brother is not in his swing.

Great Grandma Elsie is so much fun! She took me on the swing, the slide and even to the river to throw rocks! She rocks!!
Haha...my favorite place to be, in the jeep with my daddy. I'm so good I can drive with no hands!

21 Months Old

I like to feed my baby doll.

I'M A BIG SISTER!!!

My little brother Levi was born and I think he's cute! I like to kiss him, pet him, cover him up with blankets and give him toys. I also like to sit in his car seat and his bouncy seat  and I even try to get in the swing  - but it moves around too much. 

I'm having lots of fun these days. Mommy and daddy took me to the beach before Levi was born and I got to walk in the water and look at ducks! Quack Quack! That's what ducks say and I like to talk like them. 

I am saying so many words now!! Ball, buckle, bubbles, baby, lizzy, Tim, ki-ko (for psycho the cat). I drink out of a cup really good now too but I still like to spill water all over the place. My favorite thing to eat is ice chips. Mommy and daddy give them to me and they make me very happy. 

We play outside in the backyard a lot - in the pool, on the slide or with my bike or daddy's tools. I really really like to help him work and drive his car. He lets me sit in it and pretend to drive. It's so much fun!! Oh, we went to a drive in movie last week and I wasn't a very good girl. haha! Mommy thought I'd go to sleep but I didn't. I stayed up till midnight and screamed and screamed until they let me in the front seat - and then I still screamed at them and crawled all over the car. My brother just slept the whole time - can you believe that? How boring! :) Mommy will never take me to a movie like that again till I'm a BIG girl. 

My favorite movie is Country Elmo -they sing songs and there are animals and little kids. I like to dance to it and clap my hands. Dora and Diego are still my favorites and I got a Dora potty seat!!! I can't wait to use it!

Last week I even used the big potty all by myself! I pee-peed and had a little poop in the potty! It was really cool! I even got to flush it too! I walk around saying poo-poo all the time and mommy and daddy think I have to go so they put me on the toilet. I'm not really ready to make that big step yet - but I like to trick them into letting me flush the toilet. 

Oh, the other day when I was taking a bath, I pooped in the tub! hahahahaha!! Daddy had to clean it up with a kitty litter scoop that mommy had just bought. He wasn't too happy about that. I think it's funny though - and mommy was glad it wasn't HER giving me a bath. 

My favorite toy right now is my bubble machine. I like to try to eat the bubbles as they fly through the air. They taste good!

MORE OF ME AT 20 MONTHS

So summer has been good to me so far. Mid May was really warm and I got to go in my swimming pool! Mommy got me a bike too and I'm learning how to ride it. It's lots more fun though when daddy pushes me on it - I don't have to do any work! I also like to help my daddy work on projects, like our new patio! I dig in the dirt with my shovels and watch the birdies in the nest on our deck. I got to see two of the babies fly away from their nest! It was really cool!

I still love to watch Dora and Diego cartoons and go for walks outside and play in the yard. I get in trouble when I hit, bite, kick and spit and I have to have time-outs now. Mommy makes me sit in my bed for one minute when I'm naughty. I guess my kisses and hugs aren't good enough, now I have to go sit by myself. I don't like it one bit!

I also liked my cousin Elias, we got to play the other day. He can't walk yet but he's really interesting. I wonder what it will be like to have a little brother around. He still isn't here yet - mommy keeps telling me "any day now" but I want to meet him NOW! I need someone to play with.

Other interesting things that I do: I blow kisses, say papa for grandpa, kind of say Lizzy (my cousin), say nana for banana, baba for ball. I try to put food in my nose, know all my body parts, and LOVE the toilet. I want to sit on it like mommy. She showed me how the other day and I didn't want to get off of it. I wanted to keep sitting there. It's really cool when you flush it too! Maybe I'll be a big girl soon and learn how to use the potty! Oh, I also learned how to take my pants off in bed. Mommy keeps having to put them back on me. She's afraid I'll take off my diaper. haha..wouldn't that be funny? I'm also learning how to crawl out of the crib. I almost got both legs over the other night. What will be next???

20 Months

Here I am at 20 months old! I learned how to say mamma a week before Mothers Day. Mommy's friend was over and she asked if I could say mamma yet and she said "no" so I thought I would prove her wrong. I said my first mamma - and have been using it every chance I can get. mammma maaaaammmmaaa!!!!! haha....I like to say it really loud, over and over and over again.

I had my first weekend away at Grandmas too! Mommy couldn't go to Yakima for Mother's day because she is about to have a baby and daddy doesn't want her to have it in the car. So Grandma Linda let me come stay for the weekend and I got to go to a parade! I was really excited about the candy they threw to me and stuffed my pockets. When they didn't throw anymore I threw my OWN candy and picked it up again! It was so fun! I got to play with my Grandma's new doggy, Diego too! He is so cute! Mommy and Daddy need to get one for me!!

I was excited to see my mommy though when I got home. I gave her a BIG hug and won't let her out of my sight.

19 MONTHS

I'm 19 months old now and getting smarter every day. I like to say bye-bye and hi and meow and dadda...still not mommy. haha...I make all sorts of animal noises and can point to my different body parts. I especially like to stick my finger IN my nose when you ask me where my nose is.

Reading books and watching Dora are some of my favorite things to do indoors - and helping my daddy work in the garage or with tools or out in the yard is the best! I like to go for walks, smell flowers, play with rocks and climb everything. I finally learned how to slide down my little toy slide all by myself! It's so fun!

I also don't like it when I spill my milk on the floor or drool/spit on the floor. I go and get the kitchen towel and wipe it up. My mommy gets mad at me because she's always having to get out new hand towels. :)

I brush my teeth real good now and like to wash my hands and brush my hair and am learning how to take my clothes off all by myself. I also like to get out mommy's high heal shoes and put them on and try to walk around with them.

I'm really good at shaking my head to say NO but I don't say it yet. Mommy keeps asking me if I'm excited that I'm going to have a baby brother - but I don't really know what she's talking about. She says there's a baby in her tummy but I keep pulling up her shirt and all I see is a big belly with a belly button that I like to push on. Sometimes I hug it too but it really doesn't look or feel like a baby.

Kisses are fun too! I learned how to do that and now I kiss my toys and the cat and my daddy and sometimes my mommy. :) I like to hug too - like after I get in trouble for biting or hitting mommy I hug her and she can't be mad at me anymore!

18 Months Old Update

Wow! I'm 18 months old already!!! Last week I had my Dr.'s appointment and I weigh 23 pounds and 13 ounces. I'm in the 50th percentile for height and weight, but my head is in the 80th! That's because I'm soooo soooo smart! I have 10 teeth and two of them are molars.

 I say dada, kitty kitty, bye bye and ticka ticka (tickle tickle), but still I don't say mommy. I just laugh at her and say dada when she trys to get me to say mama. :)

 I love my kitty cat and he is starting to like me too! He lets me pet him now and sometimes I can lay on him for a minute. I even try to feed him my cheerios and fishy crackers so he will like me more!

What else am I doing? Well, I like to brush my teeth and get very angry with mommy and daddy when they tell me I have to finish. I scream and hit them with my toothbrush - and them mommy takes it away. The other day it made me so mad I tried to bite her but she was fast and I missed. 

I like to go for walks outside, help my daddy build things in the garage, open doors with keys - am scared of loud motorcycles, daddy's tools, the gorillas at the Rainforest Cafe (restaurant)  - love to dance to music and watch cartoons. 

I'm getting very smart too - when mommy and daddy tell me to do something I  know what they mean. Like, do you want to eat, take a bath, brush my teeth, watch cartoons, go outside, go bye-bye or play with my toys. I also like to see my mommy's belly button and try to pull her shirt up so I can see. Hee hee! 

I also am learning where my nose is and stick my finger up it! haha! I'm so funny! I also like to take my clothes off and run around in my diaper - why wear clothes? I was born naked! 

I don't know what I'm going to do with a little brother - maybe dress him up in my clothes? I just hope he doesn't take all my toys and slobber on them.

17 Months - January

Hey look everyone! I have a baby brother!! I can't wait to meet him in June.

December 07

I had a great Christmas! I got all kinds of cool stuff from my family. We went to Yakima and Kansas - and on Christmas Day I got really sick. We were on an airplane and mommy had to hold me almost the whole way there - and I had a fever and was sick sick sick. My daddy got sick too - and mommy had to take care of us. She was sick from my baby brother - he made her throw up every day. I got to go in a swimming pool in Yakima, saw all my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Then we were in Kansas for almost 2 weeks! It was really cold there - but I played in the snow and decided it's not so scary anymore.
